How do you see children

You treat a thing the way you value it.....same way you treat children the way you see or value them! I was in a BRT bus today and a woman insisted her son should not take a seat, she paid for only herself. The boy should be between 10 and 13 years old. It wasn’t the act of not paying for a seat for the boy that upset me most but the dehumanizing way she went about it. From what happened, it’s either the poor boy didn’t know he wasn’t going to sit or he has forgotten or want to put up an to change his mother’s mind..... .....whichever one, it was obvious the decision of him not having a seat didn’t go well with him and the mother didn’t help matter at all.....in fact, she made it worse! Anyway as soon as he entered the bus, he sat comfortably but the urgency at which the mother sentenced him to standing jolted him to reality and he stood immediately with the reflex action of one who sat on a nail...his head bowed. The mum didn’t stop at that, she began his autobiography! “That’s how you did the other day when blablabla.....” “All una no nonsense parents, I carry yansh for una, how do you sleep at night after humiliating your child in public for no just reason?” If you know that your child will a day be the president of a country or be an international influencer, would you continue to treat him/her without respect for his human dignity? Everyone, both old and young want to be loved, respected and accepted.....is this too much for your child to ask? May we receive sense!
