It is no news that the teen years has it's peculiarities just like other stages of life.

The difference is that social media has amplified most of these challenges, coupled with the fact that, in this 21st century, most parents are still using the old template of parenting passed down to them from their parents, from their grand parents......"ko le werk"

When some of the teens I relate with share stuff with me, I hear:
"Please don't tell my mummy o!"

"My daddy will beat me....he can beat for Africa!"

If you still believe beating your child is the best approach, I beseech you by the mercies of God, repent!

The pre order of Wendy Ologe's book, "The discipline that works" is still on, I have read her best selling, "Connect to Correct", it is value packed!

You cannot correct someone you have no connection with.

You can beat all you can, the child is waiting for the day of emancipation....

I digress!

Since in most cases, I don't have access to the parents, I have decided to focus on what is within my control, share some helpful tips with teens to scale through the teen years gloriously and triumphantly, starting from the 1st to the 30th, November 2019.

It is termed "A Message to Teens".
