The first man....
He sat behind the wheels, glancing occasionally at his watch, feeling uneasy and irritated, he wondered what the director was doing in his office at the time. All other employees had closed for the day.
The second....
He had vacated his usual cubicle at the entrance of the gate, pacing forth and back, it was well passed his closing time, he married his third wife about a fortnight ago, home was the next thing on his mind.
In almost two hours ago, he had bid farewell to the last employees of the prestigious establishment goodnight, so in his mind, "what is this man still doing in the office by now, when all other employees had gone home?"
The third man....
He was the Director of the company, he sitted comfortably in his big, well furnished office, totally engrossed with his phone, occasionally sipping green tea from a tea cup, like one who has no worry, totally oblivious of the drama going on outside his office!
These three men, despite the difference in their status, are within thesame age bracket, in their late sixties, though the gateman and the driver looked much older.
As I beheld the scenario before me, series of thoughts ran through mind, I couldn't stop but pondered;
"What did each man do differently?"
I received more sense there and then!
Bringing it home,...
Dear teenager,
Where would you be in the next 20, 30years?
Who would you have become?
Do you have it figured out already?
Who would be your friend?
What association would you keep?
The people you are hanging out with now, are you sure they are headed in the same direction as you?
You have no power over your past, no matter how good or bad, but you can decide the future you desire!
The Holy Writ says: "As a man thinketh, so is he"
....your thoughts determine your choices,
....your choices determine your actions,
....your actions determine your habits,
....your habits determine your results.
You are free to choose but you are not free from the consequences of your actions.
The ball is in your court, the last time I checked, God is forever faithful!
....begin with the end in mind
